A full day of the 'World Game'! Myrtleford goes head-to-head with Wangaratta City during a series of matches involving Juniors, Ladies, Reserves and Seniors, with the main Seniors game scheduled to start at 3pm.
Lots of action and you can enjoy some great Italian food while you watch the game. Entry to the ground is free.

Tucked away in the Ovens Valley are boutique wineries not normally open to the public and this will be your chance to visit them. You travel by coach with a winemaker who will talk about the wines and answer your questions.
You will be stopping for lunch at the Myrtleford Savoy Club where you will sit down to an Italian BBQ. This is included in the cost of the tour.

Jim van Geet is a multi-award winning artist represented by galleries nationally and internationally. He is best known for his evocative portraits and figurative paintings and this exhibition will feature a number of those works as well as his “ Masquerade “ series from Florence.

Join us for the 'Tastes of Trentino', a wonderful feast of regional food from the Trentino region in northern Italy. The menu will consist of Polenta, Spezzatino (Beef Stew), Salsice (Continental Sausage), Crauti (Sauerkraut), Salads and Castagne (Roasted Chestnuts). Cost: Adults $22.00, Under 15 $12.00. The Living Chess Match - 1pm at the new piazza adjoining Clyde St. - FREE performance! |

We'll be christening the giant chess board in the new piazza with a free re-enactment of the Living Chess Match first played in 1454 in the town of Marostica in northern Italy. Real people are used as the chess pieces and we can promise lots of colour and excitement as the two rivals vie for the hand of the Lord's daughter.
If you are enjoying the 'Tastes of Trentino' feast then this will be a bonus as you'll have ringside seats!

Italian Heritage Display - 2pm to 5pm, Old School Museum, Elgin St |

During the Second World War, many hundreds of captured Italian soldiers were imprisoned in a camp near Myrtleford at Whorouly East. This exhibition will display images and other items from the camp. Entry is by gold coin donation
You also have an opportunity to visit the camp site. A free escorted tour leaves the Old School Museum at 4pm on both days. Simply follow the museum guide in your own vehicle.
