Myrtleford's cafes have banded together to offer you delectable Italian treats such as Crostoli, Cannoli or Biscotti with coffee for just $5. You'll swear you are somewhere in Italy! Click here for a list of participating cafes and look out for their window posters.


The Tortellini Trail (10am on, Saturday, May 15 & Sunday, May 16)
Designed with both cyclists and motorists in mind, this gentle 47km trail will take you to some excellent wineries and farm-gate outlets.The Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre will give you a trail map, and whilst you are there you can hire a basket to fit the handlebar of your bike to safely carry your purchases. Break for a lunch of home cooked pasta at the Myrtleford Savoy Club and at the end of the trail drop in for a cooling gelati at a 150-year old pub then a coffee and pastry at one of our cafes in town! . Artisan Cooking Demonstration - Myrtleford Butter Factory (Wednesday, May 19)
10am - Learn the secrets of how to make your own butter.
2pm - Discover how to preserve tomatoes the Italian way!

Middle Eastern Banquet - Cafe Fez (6pm, Friday, May 21 & Saturday, May 22)
No, not Italian, but a taste sensation all the same! Three course Moroccan banquet. Wine and turkish coffee available. $30 per person. Bookings: (03) 5751 1155.

 

 


Dalla Terra (From the Earth) Dinner - Myrtleford Butter Factory (7pm, Friday, May 21)
A “Slow-Food” degustation dinner featuring seasonal regional produce and a selection of Alpine wines presented by the winemakers during the meal. $75 per person. Bookings (03) 5752 2300.

 

 



Food & Wine Expo - Clyde St. (11am - 4pm, Saturday, May 22)
Be there to enjoy wines from the Alpine Valleys Wine Region plus wonderful food including special traditional Italian dishes. If you fancy your footwork, enter the grape treading competition! You can also enter the Chestnut Cooking Competition (details here). Local musicians will be adding to the fun atmosphere too and there will be other surprises in store!
The kids will be looked after too as we'll have free entertainment for them nearby! Click here for more details.

'Meet the Winemakers' Dinner - Range (7pm, Saturday, May 22)

World's Longest Pasta Lunch - Michelini Wines (12.15pm - 2.45pm, Sunday, May 23)
